Check out What the Designers are saying...
Brian Thomas, Brian Thomas Couture - Always budget for alterations. Gowns are made from a standard size chart, all bridal will need to be altered to fit your specific body type. This is how a gown is "custom fit" for your body. Plus, gowns are cut to an average length of 58" or roughly for an individual that is 5'8" or taller. To think that you will be able to purchase a gown and not have alterations taken is naive.
Romona Keveza's "Ramona's Rules"
- Always book an Appointment at a bridal salon-never walk in on the fly. You'll feel more pampered... - Try on no more than 5 - 10 gowns per salon visit...there are only so many you can see before it all become a blur. -If you fall in love with one of the first gowns you try on, go for it!Don't keep lookingbecause you think a better one is out there...three out of four brides end up buying the first dress they really loved, if it is still available.
